The Music Man with Gulf Coast Symphony

In just under 2 weeks, we learned, rehearsed, and put up an entire production of Meredith Willson’s The Music Man with Gulf Coast Symphony! The entire cast included 55 people from all over the country, with a full orchestra. Direction by Max Quinlan, choreography by Amy Marie McCleary, and Conducting by Dr. Andrew M Kurtz. Being part of the quartet was an amazing experience, and it was great revisiting some classic songs; having sung a choral arrangement of “Lida Rose” in college, and performed “Rock Island” in a cabaret performance back in high school. While we had a very quick run of only two performances, it left me with great memories to look back on. You can be certain I’ll have all the songs stuck in my head for months to come!

“This production had quite a large cast, and I thought everyone was terrific. Some standouts to me included Brice Kingsley as Tommy Djilas and Macy Magas as Zaneeta Shinn. The Quartet was also spectacular.”

Merry Grinchmas! Catch me as the Promotional Grinch this Holiday Season

Do you hate Christmas? Well, the Grinch does, and despite all his distaste for the holiday season, I’m happy to share that I’ll be traveling the country doing press as the Grinch for this year’s touring productions of Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Already, I’ve traveled to a few different states, causing mayhem everywhere I go. Getting to portray such an iconic character, and seeing the excitement on peoples’ faces when they see the Grinch out in public, is so rewarding. I guess, even though the Grinch isn’t a big fan, this opportunity has made me even more excited for the holidays this year. If you have a chance to see the tour at a theater near you, go do it! It’s definitely a fun time for the whole family.

Follow the tour!

Kyle Signs with FireStarter Entertainment Agency

After having my collegiate showcase canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic, I’m very excited to announce that I’ve added FireStarter Entertainment Agency to my team. I couldn’t be more thrilled and grateful to be working with Kara Slocum and Tiera Ashley at FSE, and I look forward to seeing what wonderful opportunities come in the next few months.

Bye Bye Baby - Jersey Boys Ends its Run at Broadway Palm

That’s a wrap! Jersey Boys has concluded at the Broadway Palm in Fort Myers, Florida, and I’m back in NYC; ready for the next adventure. I couldn’t be more grateful for my time there. I got to see a plethora of family members, some of which I hadn’t seen in over a year, made several friends that I can’t wait to keep in touch with, and had the chance to do what I love most… PERFORM! In addition to my main track as Hank/Others, I had the opportunity to cover Nick Massi and fill in for him during a couple rehearsals. Towards the end of our contract, some cast members came down with Covid, and I was asked to cover Gyp and Bob Crewe as well, in the event that more cases spiked. Luckily, nobody else got sick, but it was still a great opportunity getting to dive into those other roles and learn them “just in case.”

Jersey Boys is such a fun show with music that brings everyone together. Getting to see the joy on every audience members face thrilled me and was extremely rewarding. Seeing some of the younger viewers so enthralled and inspired filled my heart with happiness, remembering a once young Kyle sitting as an audience member too and being so amazed by the talent and performers on stage. My favorite interaction was a teenage boy playing air guitar with us as we played ours on stage. I know that performance meant the world to him, and knowing that means the world to me. It’s part of why I love performing, and I cannot wait to see what’s next for me on my theatrical journey.
